I know it was found in the fiction section but do you not remeber how cathy said how the best way to hide something is to hide it in plain sight...ring any bells?

if you change the sligthest thing from a real book (as a name; cathy brigg/ cathy vickers) it will become fiction

huurr, i wish. xD

my personal opinion is that it's fiction. though it might be based off of some true events [like, the way some authors draw from little bits of day-to-day stuff in their own lives as inspiration for their books] or it might be inspired by the authors' relatives or friends.

cathy vickers might very well be based off of cathy briggs, but you'd have to meet her to know just how much was, & how much was artistic license. :]

& it's very possible that parts of it might have been inspired by real events, & since it doubles as an alternate-reality game with the places & phone numbers being accurate, it gives the stories a real feeling of realism.

generally, i think it's mostly fiction. a good story, that maybe has little doses of reality here & there. :]

I don't think it's real... but like miss-metal said, there's maybe a little bit inspired of the real world (:

@ theswedishgirl:

check this out? :] i already posted it on another thread, but i can't remember where. it's an interview with one of the designers, cathy brigg. she mentions that a bit of it is inspired by herself.

Oh yeah! Isn't Cathy Brigg look some of her real life into the book or something? Her name sounds SO familiar.
