im not sure if i would want to be immortal...i dont think i could handle all the people i love dieing....so i guess me answer would be no

Well, it would be great to be an immortal (just think of not getting any hurt, disease, or cancer). But once everyone you love dies, you're like you're all alone. So maybe if there's some antidote to be immortal I could give it to my family (it would be much more better to have some immortals to keep you company).
