Okay so I just read my copy of Cathy's Key (YAY!), and decided to go back and re-read Cathy's Book again. Towards the end, on page 111 as Cathy's talking about time slowing down in the Musee Mechanique and on some other pages I can't remember right now, Cathy writes about the "faint smell of peaches". The perfume in Cathy's Key is described as being peach-scented. Coincidence or deliberate connection? Am I totally overthinking this?

Deliberate connection, surely. Time slowed down relates to immortals.. but peach scented perfume relates to mortality! confusing! :S

The peaches are the scent in the perfume that will turn Imortals back to Mortals!!!!


EX: Auntie Joe-The time that Tsao and Jewel were at the mall and Tsao was about to throw Cathy over the rail of the top level Jewel had on the Perfume and that is how is how she was able to die.

when cathy smells the scent of peaches, the paper folding man soon appears
i think it has more to do that more than anything

and the mortality perfume has that nasty hospital smell to it. cathy always points it out when it's specifically the perfume

i was reading about the eight immortals and found out that one of the immortals is associated with holding a peach. The mannequin in the place where she was hiding was holding a peach and that was where she could smell them...

just thought id point that out??
