hello.. last year both my parents died. my mom died january 24 2009 from a drug overdose of 122 methadone 23 xanex and some odd cocaine. my dad died of alcohol poisoning on september 23 2008. they place me in a boot camp and now i am in a group home awaiting their approval on a foster home . I will be 18 on November 2nd this year . And i don't know what to do. Im nervous and having mixed feelings about this. I have a wonderful social worker and I'm not just saying this. She has been through it all with me and is still here for me. Even when she saw the ugly. Even though i have her I still feel alone. I want a Family, But i don't want to put myself in a position where i can get screwed over again? Any advice??
